Overview

Private lessons are tailored to your experience and goals. Open to everyone, regardless of level or school affiliation—from beginners to professionals. No age restrictions apply.

Lesson Format

Lessons take place at the Ishikawacho Studio. If you are unable to attend in person, online lessons are also available. Online sessions are conducted via Google Meet, so you will need a suitable device (smartphone, tablet, computer or smart TV) and a stable internet connection. After booking, you will receive the Google Meet link via email. When registering, please select your preferred lesson format before clicking [Add to Cart].

Capacity

Private lessons are generally limited to one participant. However, if you wish to attend together with a friend or request instruction for a small group choreography, we can accommodate up to three participants as an exception. In such cases, an additional fee of ¥5,000 per extra participant applies.

If you would like to book a private lesson for two or three people, please first reserve a session for one participant from the available dates listed below, then contact us to make the necessary arrangements.

Lesson Fees

In-Studio (Ishikawacho)

• 1 person, 75 min ⇨ ¥6,000 (tax included)

Online Lessons

• 1 person, 75 min ⇨ ¥5,000 (tax included)

If the lesson takes place at the Ishikawacho Studio, you can pay by credit card, bank transfer or cash. Cash payment is not available for online lessons.

Ishikawacho Studio is located in Yokohama, just a 1-minute walk from JR Ishikawacho Station.

You can wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for movement. Clothing that allows for easy visibility of body movements is preferable, so outfits that show your bodyline are appreciated. Generally, lessons are conducted barefoot, but wearing skin shoes or socks is OK. Please bring at least one veil (if the lesson requires having a veil), writing utensils, and a camera (mobile device, ok). Water is available for free at the Yokohama Studio.

In the event of an emergency declaration by the government or cancellation by the organizer, a full refund will be issued. However, refunds are not available for cancellations made by the customer. Instead, rescheduling for private lessons is possible. Please check the available dates and times for private lessons and then request rescheduling via the contact form.
